O Emmy 2024, principal premiação da televisão norte-americana, anunciou os indicados da Academia Internacional das Artes e Ciências Televisivas, nesta quarta-feira, 17 de julho.
A cerimônia da 76ª edição do evento será realizada em 15 de setembro, em Los Angeles, e premiará produções lançadas entre 1º de junho de 2023 e 31 de maio de 2024. Devido à greve dos atores e roteiristas de Hollywood, o Emmy 2023 foi realizado no início deste ano, mas retornará com o tradicional calendário.

A aclamada série “O Urso”, quebrou o recorde de número de indicações nas categorias de comédia, levando 23 no total. As indicações incluem Melhor série de comédia e Melhor atriz principal do gênero com a estrela Ayo Edebiri.
Outras produções com protagonismo negro também se destacam na premiação. Entre elas, a série “Abott Elementary”, que também concorre a Melhor série de comédia e a categoria Melhor atriz principal com Quinta Brunson. “Sr. e Sra. Smith” foi indicado na categoria de Melhor série dramática e Melhor ator principal em uma série dramática, com o Donald Glover.
